Macadamia Nut Burgers
This quick and easy home-made burger recipe can be made with Chicken, beef or lamb mince.
Ingredients
• 750gms lean mince option
• 2 tblsp Native Currant And Chilli Sauce
• 1/3 cup Pure Macadamia Nut Spread
• 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 onion finely chopped
• 3 tbs finely chopped mint (for lamb)
• 3 tbs finely chopped fresh thyme (for chicken)
• 3 tsp finely chopped fresh basil (for beef)
• 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
• 1 egg
• salt and pepper
Method
- Combine all ingredients except Native Currant And Chilli Sauce in a large bowl and mix well.
- Divide mixture into 6-8 patties, depending on the size of the bread buns you are using.
- Wet hands with water and shape the mixture into patties. Place on a tray.
- Cover and rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- Shallow fry, or barbecue patties and top with Native Currant And Chilli Sauce
